Dr. Christine Hur is a Southern California native, as she grew up in Orange County and completed her undergraduate studies in the Inland Empire, at the University of California, Riverside, where she received her B.S. in biology. Dr. Hur then went on to complete her optometry doctorate at the Southern California College of Optometry at Marshall B. Ketchum University. During her clinical training, she served at the Komatke Health Center in the Phoenix, AZ area, the Veterans’ Affair clinic in downtown Los Angeles, and the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center near Washington, DC. Dr. Hur has seen a variety of cases in ocular disease (with emphasis on diabetic retinopathy), cornea and contact lenses, pediatrics/vision therapy, and even some TBI.
Dr. Hur is a committed primary eyecare provider, and seeing her patients healthy and happy makes her day.
Dr. Hur is fluent in Korean and is currently learning Spanish. When she is not seeing patients, she is out rock climbing, going to concerts, and enjoying the outdoors
(beach, hiking, camping, etc).
